AutoMenus 5 was specifically written to work with System 7. The two features, "Using Menu Clock" and "Select Balloon/App Menus" are designed for System 7 use only. If you have them enabled and are using System 6 or below, you will get strange results.
Other than the two features listed above, AutoMenus works fine with System 6.
SuperBoomerang™ Users

The special direct open sub-menu that SuperBoomerang 2.0.x puts in the file menu will not appear when using AutoMenus. However, the new SuperBoomerang 3.0 direct open menu works fine.
Windows 2.1 Users

AutoMenus is not compatible with this init. If you try to select the Windows menu you will get a system error and have to restart. Sorry, but there is nothing I can do about this.

Version 5.2:
—AutoMenus now supports multiple sub-menus when the Automatic Dismissal feature is enable.
—AutoMenus now leaves the last 10 pixels on the right of your monitor alone. This provides better compatibility with extensions such as PopChar which need this space.
—The enable/disable pop-up menu would not appear consistently. Fixed.
—New support for Balloon Help under System 7.
—New nifty animated icon at start-up.
—Lots of internal changes to the extension code to improve performance.
—Due to increased demand, the demo life for AutoMenus has been extended from 5 restarts to 15.
Version 5.21:
—AutoMenus would bomb on Mac without Color QuickDraw (128K ROMS). The quick fix to this was not to display an icon at startup on these machines. My apologies to all those who downloaded v5.2 and had problems, but me and non-color machines haven't been getting along lately. I'll definitely be more careful in the future.
Keyware

AutoMenus is distributed in a demo state. Any demo copy, and all future versions of AutoMenus can be turned into the fully functional version just by entering in a key code which you can receive from me. See the online help in the Control Panel for ordering instructions.
In its demo state, AutoMenus' lifetime is only 15 restarts of your computer. After the 16th restart, the demo copy is rendered useless. You can still turn the disabled copy into a fully functional version by entering in the key code via the Control Panel.
